| One of our post popular out-of-club healthy activities is attending Wellbeing sessions. This is basically a circuit session during which the trainer makes everyone go through a series or exercises, balancing exercises between Strength, Cardio and Streching. Although I'd like to say it's a step down from the gym in difficulty, the fact that this is continuous and you have a trainer firing you on makes it quite a strenuous workout. The good thing about this type of exercise is that you can set your own tempo and difficulty level. Strength exercises can be done on different levels, when jogging you may jog or run, etc. All in all its a great weekly workout, and since a large group of us goes it's a bit of a social event as well. Details
Time: Monday 5:30 - 6:30 Place: Sport's Halls (new)
Level: [x][ ][ ] If you really enjoy this kind of exercise, Markus and Sophie usually take it to the next level and do additional sessions. These include: Wellbeing: On ... Conditioning: On ... SkiCircuit: (available in winter) More Info As usual with the archery club, Wellbeing sessions are followed by a Pub visit to Bar Rio, where we get free food and can tank up on enough alcohol to make all that exercise worthless, haha. When starting a wellbeing thread: Name the topic "WB: ..." so that it can be identified propperly ^^ Cheers, Flo |

| Hello Everyone, just a fairly late reminder, that for the fun of all the wellbeing classes are on this year too. The session is from 5:30 till 6:30, as metioned above and food is available at the pub as soon as we can convience 5 people to come along. (This most likely means that from next week (11/10/2010) on.) If you are up for either the sporty part, or the lazy chilling in the pub, please post a reply, and i will book the pub for us. Thanks |
